Starts okay gets worse.

At the beginning it was pretty cool. Cool fights, awesome opening and seemed fairly over all well thought out. However it gets fairly complicated and at times the story makes you think more than you should have to.

Great Anime, Anoying "to be continued" voice over

Last year I bought this on the 13 Days of Christmas Sale and finally got around to watching it.
I found it really good and interesting. I liked how the new guy in town ended up being like the support/back-bone of the main character and found a way to fit-in in a unusual town. However, I found it increasingly anoying when they kept with "To be continued" after every single episode! I know that quite a few have texted "to be contined" but none of them (that I've seen) have ever been voiced before. I found out quite quickly the reason that the others have decided against the text being voiced. So all in all, this was a good (not too romantic) school type anime that has aliens. That I really enjoying. With voiced " to be continueds". :)

Very good series !

Taking place in the not-too-distant future, "Shingu" centers around a group of young teen school students and the town they live in during an alien invasion. But not all the students are what they appear to be !! Neither are their parents !!

This product is the full 26 episode series, on 5 DVD's, with many extras including character biographies.
Presented in either English or Japanese with English subtitles thrown in the purists !!

A fun story !! Enjoy !!!
