The New Godzilla

by -

Great movie! I really enjoyed now that I got to see the film in English since I have seen the movie in Japanese various times. Though I wish that this version of the DVD had special features, even like the Blu-ray but sadly, it only has trailers. Nevertheless, it's very enjoyable and a must see for all Godzilla fans

A bit too talk heavy but still a good watch

I have only seen the original "Gojira" and the two recent American ones, but I do know a bit about Godzilla and have seen clips of the other movies. I heard great things about this one and had high hopes, and although yes it was good, it didn't do as much for me as I would have liked it to. For one, there was a bit too much talking and not much Godzilla. But the more I read about it and what it was supposed to represent, I appreciated it more. So I guess if you're a big Godzilla fan and/or know a lot about the Japanese government/economy, then check this one out. If you only know Godzilla from the two recent American ones, then caution, this one might not be for you. Oh and just know that this DVD only one has no special features besides trailers.
