a cat's point-of-view

The story of a girl listless, living on her own for the first time, from the perspective of her cat. Slice-of-life and with beautiful art. It's a quick read with sparse words, but I found myself slowing down and relishing it. It's very sweet. I found myself touched by how the cat thought of his owner. We like to think we're important to our pets, that we're central to their lives, and this story certainly supports that. Check it out if it sounds interesting to you, you won't regret it.

Another Makoto Shinkai!

It was such a short read but over all it was nice. A woman name Miyu living on her own who finds a cat name Chobi! She learns living independently comes with freedom and loneliness. I recommend watching the anime first then read the manga! You'll understand after you watch the anime. If you love Makoto Shinkai works definitely check this one out!

Glittery Beauty

by -

You can't see in the picture posted on RightStuf but, the cover for this manga has a type of holographic/frosted shine to it. It's absolutely gorgeous. This also has a floppy feel which makes it easier to read without worrying that you'll crack the spine.
The story itself is beautiful. It talks about depression and how our furry friends view us the world we live in.

A Simple Slice of Life

A good slice of life. A good depiction of how living alone can be both freeing and lonely. It is narrated by the cat, which I didn't expect, I would prefer it had it been written from the protagonist's POV. Overall, a decent quick read!

Sweet slice of life from a cat's perspective

A quick read, but very sweet! I picked this up because I'm a big fan of Blue Period, and Tsubasa Yamaguchi's art is just as beautiful as ever in this one-shot. I'm also a big fan of anything having to do with cats, so this one checked all the boxes for me.
