one of my favorite anime !!

by

While this remains to be one of my favorite anime series there's no doubt that I'm going say "go buy it". First of all the original dub actually came from geneon(who remembers them?) But when they went out of business funimation picked it up. This DVD actually contains the original voice actors from the geneon version which I actually like that cast a little better then funi's redub but that's just my 2 cents. The extras are humorous comic relief skits that play off the more series backdrop points of the series, and the naze nani Shana goes over terminology. If you're a Shana super fan, you'll have all the terminology down by the time you're finished with those shorts and you'll get a little laugh too considering Friagne and Marianne are running it xD The series itself reaches out to not only that crowd of people that love there fantasy/supernatural anime but even those into romance as well. This anime has everything, go get it !!

This is a Must-Buy!

After buying the entire set of the whole 3 seasons of Shakugan no Shana, I was quite thrilled! Everything about this Anime was beyond exciting. Well season one & two were quite the boring journey, but season three was the most best thing I have ever watched. Everything in season three was so intense and thrilling; I couldn't even bear to jump a little. Best anime I've seen yet. Do check out this anime when you can, I'm positive that it'll somewhat entertain you, even to the fullest.

Overall A Fun Experience

An overall great anime with a good cast. However, I'm not a fan of how the characters, their motivations, or their origins are explained. It felt very vague in most cases and made some episodes hard to follow. Thankfully, the last disk has segments under "Extras" that fill in the blanks. I believe originally that they would air after each episode, but they do not in this DVD/BluRay set. If they changed that, I would have given this series 5 stars. My only other complaint is that a certain pair of villains took the "disturbing" act too far for me.

These two complaints aside, it was an excellent anime to watch and I immediately ordered the next season to continue the series. Very happy with this purchase.

This is one burning hot show!

This show is on fire!
This anime takes place in a world were crimson denizens roam, consuming the humans soul for power and life! But where there is evil there is a light or in this case a fire that burns through to save the day. That's where Shana comes in. Shana is a flame haze, a hero that trains to become a threat to those that consume souls.

This journey is a dangerous yet adventurous one that's both entertaining and relaxing. We got the firey fights against denizens and the story of Shana, a girl that wants nothing more to live a normal girls life.

I personally love this show and how the characters develop, but the overall background story is a bit jumbled up and spread through out the 3 seasons, and the Shakugan No Shana S OVA series. Making it confusing at times. I would give the show a 85/100
