About Seraph of the End Vampire Reign Season 1 Part 1 Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD

Seraph of the End Vampire Reign Season 1 Part 1 Limited Edition contains episodes 1-12 of the anime directed by Daisuke Tokudo, plus a chipboard box with a glow in the dark specialty print.

The world of Seraph of the End Vampire Reign is overrun with vampires, and humans have been hunted to the brink of extinction. The only way they can fight back is with a series of demonic weapons known as Cursed Gear. Reserved for soldiers with exceptional talent, these weapons require humans to form pacts with ancient demons in exchange for their power.

Yuichiro Hyakuya is a young member of the Moon Demon Company, a prestigious army squadron armed with Cursed Gear and tasked with exterminating vampires. After the blood-sucking monsters killed his family when he was a child, Yuichiro vowed he wouldn’t stop fighting until every last one was dead.

But when a familiar face from his past appears sporting a new set of fangs, the line drawn between good and evil begins to blur. There’s something special about Yuichiro - a dark power that the vampires call the Seraph of the End. When that power is unleashed, will he be the key to humanity’s salvation or its complete destruction? Don't miss out on the first season of Seraph of the End Vampire Reign!

Seraph of the End Limited Edition Boxset

by -

I enjoyed this anime when I watched it on the FUNimation APP so I was happy when I heard FUNimation was giving this anime a limited edition treatment.

Once I got the boxset I was very happy with this release except it lacked in goodies :( ...but I think its kinda cool how the boxset glows in the dark which I never seen an anime company do that before unless I missed something :)

Many people I heard from rather get the UK edition as it does come with goodies and lots of artwork but I am one of those buyers I guess that likes to get anime from its own country besides Japan as it's a show made in Japan after all :)

If you loooooove this anime I say get the UK edition as it does come with more but if you still care for the anime and if you think the Glow In The Dark thing is cool definitely get the FUNimation release :)

Returning Vampires into Something to Fear

by -

This is a great show that returns vampires to the monsters they were meant to be, one that can make you cry one moment and laugh another. If you enjoy action, you should give it a shot.

The action sequences flow beautifully and look stunning on blu-ray. The bonus features are mostly commentaries and preview trailers, but the Seraph of the Endless shorts are also here, which I was very happy about. They are like comedic mini-episode skits that will have you rolling. Seriously funny!

This limited edition doesn't come with much, just the glow in the dark box, but I picked it up to match the other Funimation limited edition sets I have. Unless you are a die-hard fan of this series (like I became after reading the manga), I would suggest saving a few dollars and picking up the standard set. By the way, this is only the first half of the series. The next set will feature the Battle in Nagoya arc.
