Ruko soon learns that the possession of her sentient card makes her a Selector, a WIXOSS player destined to battle against other Selector girls in an alternate gamescape in order to become Eternal Girls. Great deal for a suspenseful show&good extra content

A great psychological anime with alot of emotional moments.i would say it has madoka magica feels with yugioh/pokemon card mechanics(that being said the first season doesnt go into much detail about the rules of the card game, and leaves the watcher to learn as they progress the story, which I dont mind) the dub itself is great with amazing voice actors, who really give it there all, especially the main character.this essentials blu ray edition comes with 2 commentary tracks which is quite nice and rather funny to listen to.overall I give this show a buy and recommend the second season as well!
