Rough (but interesting) horror curiosity

by -

This movie is mainly useful to confuse your friends if you want to ask them to watch "Scream" with you, only to add, "No, not THAT Scream..." Here, a group of river rafters come across an abandoned Western town and are stalked by an unknown assailant when they decide to spend the night. The biggest plus is the creepy openness of the town, which really does create a sense of vulnerability. The biggest minus is the absolutely nonsensical plot which doesn't make a lick of sense, even if explained. As something to laugh with your friends about, though, it's pretty cheap entertainment. Mildly recommended as a cart-topper!
