Completely Satisfying

I watched the anime first and loved it. Since I don't buy or collect many manga series, I thought getting in on the ground floor with this one might be a good idea and I'm glad I did. It is very consistent with the anime but there are tiny differences, so that makes it all the more enjoyable. Plus being able to read it in English versus watching the anime in subtitles is a plus.

I enjoyed this volume a lot and am looking forward to continuing and collecting the whole series.
I hope the anime continues with a second season eventually, but hopefully the manga might continue on where the anime left off, too. It's such an original and different concept and that makes it such a cute and fun read.

A Wild Adventure

by -

School-live has been quite the surprise both in the manga and the anime. For people who have already watched the anime fear not as there are significant differences in how the manga and anime approach the story. While it the basic plot of School-Live remains consistent with the anime, there are still differences that gives the reader a new look into the lives of Yuki Takeya and her friends. The story, without spoiling much that can't be already seen by the cover of the novel and its synopsis, revolves around Yuki and her friends in the School Living Club which lives at school and has activities just like any club would. Although they are living at school during a zombie apocalypse they manage to get past each day with a combination of Yuki's positive mood and fun that they manage to have in the collapsed city that they live in. In short, School-Live is an interesting mix of both Slice of Life and Horror which is bound to keep the readers interested in what will happen with every page.
