The Looniest, Most Ludicrous Love Story Ever Told
by FredTownWard
KITSAT-1 was SK's first satellite, and by this time it has shut down, but then it hears a song... and decides to find the singer. Good thing, too, because in the meantime said singer has had his heart broken,... which naturally turns him into a farm animal... so that KITSAT-1 arrives just in time to save Kyung-chun. all at the doing of Merlin (yes, THAT Merlin). Oh, and KITSAT-1 has somehow been turned into a girl in the process.... In addition to the giant intelligent incinerator relentlessly chasing him, Kyung-chun also has to worry about another character chasing him in order to steal his liver, a landlord threatening to evict him, not to mention the talking toilet paper roll and the satellite girl he is stuck with, but somehow, in the midst, love begins to grow. His love for her will reinspire him; her love for him will defend him to the death; and I'm not going to be able to explain this so just watch it!
Excellent film in the post-Ghibli era

Yes, this is a Korean film and we all know how they get looked down because of the stereotypes for being derivative and having inferior animation. That's not the case here. This is a well-produced film on par with the average anime feature which tells a very different love story. You have a guy cursed into a cow because of a broken heart, a fallen satellite enchanted into an android girl. How they got where they are and the resolution are the crux of the film which is decently paced. There's also a bonus short that is a kind of prototype for this movie that is also worth the price of admission. It tells a story of a very different swordsman reincarnated as a shapeshifting coffee vending machine! The bizarre stuff makes this disc worth it! GKids is really hitting it out of the park with the films it's licensing again!
