THICC

Of course, my Rightsuf experience was great. Came carefully packaged. Beautiful new hardback omnibus. No dents, stains, smells or yellowing.
If you're curious as to why this one is more expensive than the other omnibus, it has more content. The original run was 9 volumes. The other 3 omnibus are basically 2 in 1s. This final volume is a 3 in 1, completing Saiyuki.
God willing, we will see Kodoncha continue with Reload, Blast, Gaiden, Ibun, even the novels. I'd buy 'em all. Wild Adapter and Bus Gamer, too, for that matter. I'm an avid Kazuya Minekura fan who believes this series is highly under rated, and would love to see this series on more collection shelves.
It's a great story. The artwork is beautiful, and watching this artist grow throughout the years was really something. The characters are unique and leave a powerful impression. I laughed, I cried, I thought about some meaningful paths in life. It had everything I could ask for in a manga experience.

I'd Buy More

This is not just a copy of the original TokyoPop, and the translator made some different choices. I would have liked more substance in the notes, but the solid volume and nice color plates w/in made me happy.
I second the previous reviewer's request for more volumes. I'd buy them.
