#1 definitive English version of the Sailor Moon manga

The Eternal edition is enormous, with a beautiful sparkly cover. All of the original color inserts are reproduced in full color (all prior english releases have made them greyscale instead). Best of all, there's a new excellent translation that alleviates the stilted, awkward phrasing in the 2011 English translation!! The older edition may be cheaper, but the difference in price DEFINITELY reflects a difference in overall quality. If you are considering buying this, do it!

The best edition for Sailor Moon!

by -

I was not expecting this collection to be as large in size as it is and I love it! The artwork is amazing and the translations are way better than the original without losing any context/information/plot/ etc. This is probably my favorite collection because of how gorgeous the set is. RightStuf sent it in such perfect condition and it was packaged really well. They are thick and sturdy and I recommend getting this edition for any Sailor Moon fans.

The One Named Sailor Moon

I like many have watched some of the anime as a child, but never watched it till completion. Many things differ from it so I will not be comparing it. This first volume introduces the main cast of characters and their first opponents. I would say its very simple in structure, but the part I love most about it is the mystery. The weakest part is the action.
I ordered this volume as part of a bundle and got a good discount. The product itself contains color pages almost every chapter cover. I would have liked to see action scenes colored too! There are detailed translation notes at the end. I think this is because many people have problems with prior translations, but I'm not one to gripe about such things cause I care more about the story and art.
