Usagi Tsukino is a little clumsy and a crybaby, but she's also one spirited eighth grader. As a chosen guardian of justice, Usagi apparently has a mission to protect a princess, and to find her fellow Guardians and the phantom Silver Crystal. Meanwhile, Queen Beryl of the Dark Kingdom sends her subordinates to the town where Usagi lives. They cause strange events to occur there, all in an effort to acquire the tremendously powerful Silver Crystal... Can Sailor Moon and the other Guardians successfully find the phantom crystal, and protect the princess...!?

Girl power is back in FULL EFFECT!!!!

I watched the very first English version of Sailor Moon series back in the 90s. My daughters grew up with those fabulous heroes, growing GIRL POWER!
Now, that wonderful whole world has opened up in a whole new way! Sailor Moon Crystal opens the epic up now for my pretty little granddaughter! My own little sailor warrior in training! Love the new version! The art the way it stays with the original story, with and updated feel! Awesome box set! A must have for any anime library!

This is the second arc in the series and we get to see some darkness. Chibiusa has a thing for her dad, which is kinda strange to many. But they present beautifully her internal conflict that she must face in order to reveal her silver crystal.
A must for any Sailor Moon fan's collection

Beautifully presented boxset. Love the art book and art cards. Like with the first season of Crystal, this season follows the manga closely (sorry 90's fans, no Ali and Ann!) Another definite must for the avid fan and collector.

While I wasn’t a 90’s kid I did grow up watching sailor moon when I found out that it was getting a reboot I was super excited. I was surprised to find out that the animators/producers where putting the Dark Kingdom arc and the black moon clan arc into one season. Personally I consider this dvd set to be the second season of sailor moon crystal regardless of the episodes number or when it was released. Similar to the 90’s anime season order 1st Dark Kingdom 2nd Black moon clan 3rd Death busters.
