About Sabagebu Survival Game Club Blu-ray

This Sabagebu! Survival Game Club collection contains episodes 1-12 and OVA episodes 1-6.

Momoko's family moves a lot, so she's always "that new girl" and the schools she's attended have all blurred together. Until her first day at Aogiri High, that is, where she's rescued by an armed vigilante, assaulted by a platypus, and coerced into joining a secret organization of gun-toting female commandos. Okay, maybe that last one is really just the school's survival club, but the platypus is real and so are the extremes that club president Miou is willing to execute to recruit Momoko.

Can uber-jaded Momoko's body armor-clad heart resist the charms of a girl who's all too ready to whip out her twin Desert Eagles in defense of another girl's virtue? Especially when it turns out that Momoko has her own talent for air pistols and senseless violence?

Special Features: Clean Opening and Closing, Japanese Promos.

Girls With (BB) Guns!

The show focuses on Momoka who's just transferred into an all girls school. She works hard at fitting in since she's had to transfer often and has learned its a pain dealing with new classmates if she gives a bad first impression. On her first day, she runs into the president of the school's survival game club, a gun-toting vigilante-type who after seeing Momoka's natural abilities, wastes no time in recruiting her. The club is rounded out by a cute masochist who has the hots for Momoka, a gravure idol who always seems to be the first "killed", a stoic cosplayer, and a mascot named Platty (short for Platypus) This is a straight forward comedy with each episode broken down into 2 or 3 segments. No main story to worry about. It does mean that a few segments fall flat, but I found the show to be funny most of the time. A lot of the comedy revolves around the fact that Momoka is basically a rotten person. The collection includes 6 OVA episodes clocking in at about 12 minutes each.
