Fun...even for a guy who isn't into Giant Robots and Kaiju.

I'm not really into giant robot or kaiju shows these days but I really enjoyed SSSS Gridman and liked Dynazenon just as much. The art and animation are top notch from Studio Trigger. You don't need to see Gridman to enjoy this one. The show is well-paced and kept me hooked. It's hard to say why I like these shows since I usually enjoy relaxing slice of life shows. I know the characters are lots of fun. I enjoyed watching these characters hanging out a lot more than the combat which did have impressive animation. I liked how by the end all of the characters fundamentally change. I won't say anymore for spoilers but give it a chance if you think it looks interesting. Maybe wait for a sale. $50 bucks seems like a lot for a 12-episode show with no real special features. I'm happy with my purchase but I realize this price-point for the content you get may not be for everyone. If you're on the fence, give it a shot. For fans of SSSS Gridman, this is just as fun.
