About Romeo x Juliet DVD Complete Series SAVE Edition
This Romeo x Juliet complete series set contains episodes 1-24.
For most of her young life, Juliet lived a tortuous lie. Disguised as a boy, she prowled the shadows of Neo Verona as the Red Whirlwind - a masked crusader determined to right the wrongs of a heinous regime. Nothing else mattered to this lionhearted beauty until the day she laid eyes on her Romeo. Handsome and daring, he swooped into her life and spirited her away from the turbulence of a common existence.
Although born of different worlds, their love proved strong enough to bridge the gap between two sides of a world fractured by unfathomable evil. But now, as their people's suffering reaches unspeakable levels, the greatest lovers the world has ever known must unite to overcome the forces conspiring to keep them apart.

A Joy To Watch
First off, Fear Not! This isn't a FULL ON hard to understand Word & Verse version of Romeo & Juliet !
WOW, what a great job they did with this Literary Masterpiece, everyone knows that Romeo & Juliet has been done to death, but leave it to Japanese Anime to bring it back to life and put there own spin on it, and to good effect.
Also thanks to the people at Funimation for ensuring that direct quotes were used from Romeo & Juliet whenever possible, and for the overall period-ish style dialog filled with the Shakespearean Language in general .
This was the most Beautiful English Dub I've ever listened to
I've watched this one twice so far and will do so again in the future .
The Best Version of Romeo and Juliet
by Valerie -
I have always been deeply drawn to the idea of Romeo and Juliet: forbidden love, not being able to live without each other, and the idea that love could bring feuding families together. This is, I feel, the best realization of those themes.
The fantasy elements work wonderfully with the main plot. Romeo x Juliet is both action-packed and thoughtful, with wonderful versions of these characters. Juliet is strong, both brave and well trained with a sword. But she also has a deep level of compassion that changes the course of the story several times. I love that she is able to be strong and capable without losing her kindness. Romeo is also a compassionate leader. It takes him time to realize how his father's rule has hurt the kingdom, but he is willing to do whatever he can to help his people. Even if it means putting his own life at risk.
I'm not sure why it took me so long to finally watch this, but I loved every moment of it and would now rank it among my all-time favorites.
