Must add to my collection

This is definitely one of 2015's sleeper hits. During the Summer 2015 season, all I heard people talking about was "Prison School," "Gangsta" and titles like that. Rokka no Yuusha is a beautiful anime with great animation and a solid mystery that surprised me and threw me for a loop even when I thought I had it figured out. The only down side of this is that there are too many shows like this that have a cliffhanger ending that never see a second season. Check this out and support it so that hopefully we see the rest of the story!
Don't Miss This Hidden Gem
Unfortunately, this anime did not see much popularity during the summer 2015 anime season. However, if you get passed the slow first few episodes that drove so many away, you will be pleasantly surprised with a fantasy/action/mystery that is unique and very well done. Each of the 7 characters are well developed and throughout, you will have difficulties guessing who the fake is. This is also one of the few animes that can keep you entertained even when the entire episode is them talking in one room without moving.
The price is steep as always, but I have not seen a show like this since Spice and Wolf, and it is definitely one that you don't want to miss.
Rokka, the braves of the six flowers is really good, the animation is awesome, the story is original, the caracter are truly interesting and the collector's Edition is pretty cool too :D
If you like RPG's then boy do I have an Anime for you!
Rokka starts off as a seemingly traditional Anime, a group of very talented heroes begin a journey to stop a great evil, stuff you've all heard before. But that all ends somewhat quickly and before you know it your pulled into a very beautiful world full of adventure and mystery all it's own!
The style of animation is absolutely breathtaking! It's seriously some of the most beautiful and vibrant environments I've ever seen in an anime! So full of color that it reminds me of some of Miyazaki's best works!
The fight scenes are intense and fluid but never so blindingly fast that you get lost in what's happening, and in my book that's a good thing.
If you are like me and enjoy good character and world building, like a good number of role playing games such as the Tales or the old Final Fantasy series, then this is a must buy plain and simple!
Much better than I had thought it would be.
I tried watching Rokka not expecting much and ended up being pleasantly surprised. The first thing to notice is the art style. All the characters are given distinct looks and the backgrounds are detailed and brightly colored. There are some action scenes, but the story is primarily a suspense/mystery affair. The characters have fairly well developed personalities and motivations which is part of why the story works. As they try to figure out who is the traitor among them it seems plausible that any one of them could be it. Every one of them has something about them that makes you think they're the one. That is until the next episode when someone else seems most likely. The only unfortunate part about it is the cliff hanger ending. I'm hoping that it'll get a second season.
I love traditional mysteries. This one is a classic mystery. There are a lot of reviews on the actual show here, so I'm going to talk about the packaging and what is inside.
It is a tall and fairly think case. It comes with a slip cover that opens on the side, like for a fancy leather hard bound book. It has an insert that you can leave, take out and throw away, or put inside the case that is a summary and the list of episodes. When you open it up.
On the left is the art book, excellent quality, and the character cards (in a sealed clear envelope). On the right are the two discs in their separate holders and right on top of each other. Under the top disc, in its own holder, is the music cd. It kind of flops around so be careful.
RECOMMENDATIONS: if you like this show then check out Un-Go, Go-Sick, and Another. All are great mysteries!
