A most intense story of sex and violence

by -

In Greek mythology, the Goddess Mnemosyne had nine daughters who specialized in the arts/sciences. But Rin simply runs a detective agency, whom is desired by men and women as if a sex Goddess.

Pursued by a powerful being named Apos who just desires Rin's 1000 years of (sexual?) memories. Rin does have one weakness, her sex drive becomes insatiably lustful, or an uncontrollable sex maniac should she encounter men who have been altered into an Angel.

This series consists of 6 one-hour episodes where decades have passed between each episode, and you can expect plenty of nudity, sexual situations, and disturbing scenes of torture, murder, and other extreme acts of violence. Of course, the eventual confrontation Rin has with Apos provides a piercing/pertinent ending to this series.

For mature audiences in 1080p/16:9 video format.

A decent, more mature anime

by

This is a very mature/adult kind of show with all the sex and violence it has. It did take a while to get into it because of that but by the end it was pretty decent. It reminded me of such shows as Ghost in the Shell, Black Lagoon, and Witchblade but with more adult content. It had that very mid to late 2000s feel to it if you know what I mean. Dark colors, and specific character designs and music. It can get pretty info heavy, so if you miss something it’ll get pretty hard to follow down the road. But even while still paying attention, the plot and certain points can still get confusing. I had to read an episode guide along with it to make sure I knew what’s going on. For positives: I did like how each episode resides in a new year and the progression of society and characters. And it did have an interesting plot and characters. Overall, this show can get puzzling at times and be a bit too into the sexual themes, but it was an interesting watch. Sort of recommend.
