In a world full of humans, demi-humans and mythological creatures, a tribe of demi-human people under attack use a "Baby Moses" gambit to save their daughter from the slaughter.
The story alternates between happy times and some (occasionally very) dark elements. Whether this foreshadows challenges or a more grim tone to follow remains to be seen. The title seems to say "this is a story about a reborn main character", but there's two MCs. The Japanese woman starting over as a baby in a new world and her adoptive father.
This is a mix of "reborn fully sentient and understanding the language, already-mentally-an-adult" and "OP-MC" tropes.
Volume 1 was an enjoyable read.
This is based on an already-finished web-novel, so hopefully no "Bleach / Hunter X Hunter / Hellsing" delays.
The scene on the cover does not appear in volume 1. (Not sure if it appears at all.) It seems to mix things from different time periods.
The novel covers the girl from birth to age 6.
