Growth of a Draconic Hero
by T.J. -
If you found the first volume slow, this is where the speed comes. The main character becomes more proactive, gets a name, and encounters an enemy that tests his newly acquired skills. There's plenty of action and the plot has depth. I encourage you to pick this up.
A step in the right direction

I would compare this series to "So I'm a Spider, so what?" and I hope that this story like the spider one starts to answer questions in the next volume. It seems like the story is going to focus on the higher beings of this world more so than the creatures who inhabit it and I'm interested to see if/how Myria (cover girl) becomes a part of the story. Near the end of this volume the story starts to formulate.
The books show promise so I hope with the next one I'll be hooked.
Better than Volume 1

This is where the series really starts to take off. I really enjoyed this volume. The main character really starts to be developed and some clues to the future are tossed in.
