A new future for the show!

by

Probably one of my favorite volumes in the series; RWBY volume 4 has the twists, turns, and reveals that fans of the show have been waiting for. This season has all four main girls thrown all around the world of Remnant in a journey for defeating the villains, recovering from depression, returning to a place they hadn't been in forever, or breaking free of the chains holding them back.
What makes it my favorite volume is because the animation is a leap up from where it was in volume 1-3. The character designs are fresh and brand new. The new characters, although the villains are still lacking, the new characters present more to the table than what was expected. The music is as good as ever, and the background designs are breathtaking.
Tl;dr - Fantastic product for a fantastic volume. 10/10 would buy again.

Awesome show, Just 1 fault for the set.

If you've been following RWBY then by now you've made up your mind weather or not to buy. And of course the show is easily a 5/5. However though it may be a small thing. The lack of the character short leading into V4 not being included in the extras or placed at the beginning of he movie/chpt play, is very disappointing.
But as for Vol4. Great. Everything in the world of RWBY has been expanding. From character growth, to new types of Grimm and how they might be created. The series just keeps getting more interesting as we learn more from the world of Remnant and the ongoing trials of our heros

What's your favorite fairy tale?

If you've been following along from the beginning then you already know what a great show RWBY is and this season does not disappoint. After the major triumphs, setbacks and loses of the last season the members of RWBY and JNPR learn the answers to some of their questions (as well as finding new questions) and discover the strength with in themselves to continue the fight!
The sound and music are amazing as always and once you get used to the difference in look from the new software they are using (to be honest it bothered me at first because I was so used to the look of the 'old' software but it quickly grew upon me as I noticed the super level of detail the new software allows) it looks great and smoother then ever. We also learn more about the world of Remnant and see more of it beyond the kingdom of Vale.
The only 'flaw' I found was that the extras seemed a little sparser than in previous seasons releases but between the segments and commentaries there is still quite a bit there.

Keeps getting better!

Keeps getting better! Their show keeps the audience coming back for more with each season. Can’t wait for the next season to come out.

Be the voice of "oposition again"!

Let´s not avoid the subject; here iniciate´s the division of RWBY fan´s!
Here begin´s a fase of series focus more in storytelling than action (like volume´s 1 to 3 was action focused).
But here they use the best part of motivations of caracter´s and put "fuel" on that (special in Yang and Weiss).
The good
The fight in final episode is the one of best in entire series!
Very good caracter development for Ruby Rose, Yang and Weiss!
The new engine best moment´s is here and fix must of old problem´s in animation
For me the best open intro is here!
The bad
Blake is totaly losted in this ark!
Ozpin jouney is a litle too fast resolved...
Has only two fight´s
For some people is the best volume for me is the second best! (if count Beacon as one volume).
Yes we gain in story development but the action is too litle here..., the problem is now the episode has long duration but they didn´t find the balance between action and storytelling.

The calm eye of the storm

This is the point in RWBY when things get real. It's not the point where you get more battles, but it's the point when the characters have to shed some of their idealism and face the fact that the world is a scarier place than they thought it was. The battles these characters face aren't just from villains, but from within. There are those who don't particularly like this season, but I see it as being a bit of the calm eye of a storm. It's time for character building after tragedy, leading to characters recuperating and preparing to move toward new adventures.

New villains are introduced, new parts of Remnant are explored, and the animation style has seen some wonderful improvements. Worth the watch, especially as this volume contains a lot of information that builds up to a lot of excitement in the next volume.
