About Punch Line Blu-ray

When your day begins with being held hostage in a hijacking, can things get much worse? How about being kicked out of your own body? Or learning that if you can't re-possess your physical shell, you'll trigger a panty-fueled apocalypse that will wipe out all life on the planet?

For Yuta Iridatsu, it's just the start of the worst out-of-body experience ever. Now, if his dissed disembodied spirit doesn't pursue the persuasions of a porn-obsessed paranormal pussycat and purloin a missing mystical manual, a meteor will collide with Earth!

And to stack the odds even further, the book is hidden somewhere in the boarding house Yuta shares with a bevy of beautiful babes, but if he gets an eyeful of his ravishing co-renters in their unmentionables before he's back in himself, it's flash-forward to Doomsday!

Will the literal end of the world be wearing briefs, a bikini, or a thong? Find out when panties, possessions and extinction level events have the ultimate rear-end collision in Punch Line!

Contains episodes 1-12.

Good anime wish it was dubbed

by

no dubs no buy

Decent anime, but no dub, might as well stream it online.

This show is somewhat weird, but an interesting watch if you have the patience. It's quite rewarding in a way.

The problem with this release? Sub only. I believe that an anime publisher should at least bother to put some money into a dub when they put out a bare-bones release. No slipcover, no fancy extras, no nothing. You just get a plastic case and your BD discs, how nice. You might as well stream this online (when I watched it, it was on Crunchyroll)

Quirky Good Show

by

A quirky show that actually has an interesting storyline. Does have a decent amount of fanservice so if that is your thing you won't find any faults with this series. Don't bother reading the other two reviews, Sentai Filmworks almost never has dubs in their releases.

Deceptively deep and great looking show.

First of all I want to say that the Blu-ray version of this show is absolutely beautiful. The picture is crystal clear, and the animation is phenomenal. The show isn't your typical fan service show. After the first few episodes the fan service becomes less pronounced and is used, refreshingly, in service of the story. The story itself is a compelling mystery with plenty of twists and turns. I highly recommend picking this show up on Blu-ray because the awesome animation and great story will keep you coming back for multiple viewings.
