This is the best movie you will ever watch in your entire life. I was lucky enough to see it in theaters and I knew the second afterwards I was going to buy it on DVD to have it forever. If you haven't already seen it - I recommend it to anyone! It is action packed and full of crazy good mecha fights. The animation is just other-worldly.

A Studio Trigger movie! Need I say more?

by -

Pretty much from the start of this movie, it has a very Studio Trigger feel to it. From the vivid colors and animation, to the over the top action and explosions, you know you’re in for a treat. It’s like Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann, and Fire Force mixed into one movie. It’s a beaut of a film and the camera never quite stays in one place. It’s always moving. Don’t blink or you’ll miss something. But it does have those quieter moments, which sometimes dragged on a little. And there was something off about it to make me fully enjoy this movie, but I’m not sure what. Maybe it would have been better in theaters, maybe it was a tad too long, or maybe it just got a little too hyped up for me. I feel like this would do better as a 12 episode series to really develop these characters and plot points, but it’s still a great movie and I would recommend it. Movie is a 4.5/5 but this release is a 5/5
