Great Movie

Great movie. I went to watch it in theaters and decided I wanted to own it. The bluray comes with extra clips and it's one of the few bluray I own.
Great BluRay Release, Fun Movie
by Ahmer -
If you have already seen Kill la Kill and/or Gurren Lagann by this films' same director, and you don't want to experience those themes again, maybe you'll want to skip this one.
However I wouldn't say this movie didn't offer lots of it's own, the visual direction is enough to prove that, I would just say that I can't fairly critique this movie without mentioning that the narrative is explored more interestingly in both the aforementioned shows.
Anyways if story or themes don't matter to you, check this out it's if nothing else a visual feast and still a rather entertaining movie.
I recommend this product

The Anime: 8/10
-The Good
- Great, over the top animation with that exaggerated style Trigger loves, similar to Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann.
- Fun story that will keep you engaged.
- Sawano's music is god tier, as always.
-The Bad
- Some side characters are effectively pointless and could be entirely removed with no issues.
- Needed more time to flesh out characters and world building - a 12/13 episode series would have been perfect for this
- Can feel spastic and hard to follow at times.
The Product: 7/10
-The Good
- Dust cover is nice. The design and title are embossed, giving it a nice look and feel.
- No back of box description spoilers
- Also includes the two animated short prequels Galo-hen and Lio-hen, which are about 10 minutes each.
-The Bad
- No reversible cover slip, however the opposite side does have very cool artwork, so I forgive this.
- I wish it was only bluray to cut cost. I would never even dream of watching a dvd on a 4k TV.
Amazingly colorful and action packed

WOW! It's absolutely stunning! Great action, good story premise.
Course I'm writing this only 10min in but I can't believe my eyes! You get the synopsis of how it begins at well, the beginning and it's just amazing during and after. I went into this as a blind buy.
If you love Trigger this will definitely please you.
