Still not a Mary Sue
by bo -
Similar to the previous volume in the series, this book continues to portray a medically accurate image of an individual with a spinal cord injury (SCI). This volume is essential in that it establishes a common role conflict in those who date someone with a physical disability: significant other VS caregiver. Once again, our female protagonist will continue to shine in an utmost demonstration of confidence that is rightfully wavered by the realities of life.
Builds Well on the First Volume
by Qifrey -
I really appreciate the attention to detail in this series. I am learning more about spinal cord injuries and the repercussions in daily life.
I think this series would make a great gift to someone who has never read manga before, but like a mature portrayal of relationships and would be intrigued about learning the viewpoint of someone disabled.
Also I really enjoy the art style the creator uses, a lighter pencil-drawn look rather than inked as you normally see these days.
