A Beautiful Companion Book to an All-Time Great Film
by MICHAEL -
This set is beautiful and enormous, with two books; a very large one with a complete set of storyboards, and a smaller one with promotional art, art references for backgrounds, and translated interviews. The storyboards are interesting, and give some insight into how this film was planned out and executed. Unfortunately, all the text for the storyboards is in Japanese, but there's a neat inclusion of storyboards for deleted scenes at the end.
My only complaint is the soft tack attaching a paper ad on the back of the box damaged the cover when i removed it; including that disposable paper at all should be rethought. Some of the included art is NSFW as well, so keep that in mind when displaying it.
To PB, or not to PB

I actually purchased this just so I could scan the "puzzle image" and have it printed as an actual puzzle - which I did...18"x24", 700 piece' now framed on my wall :D
But as for this product itself, it's great; I love artbooks and storyboards.
I have a similar complaint/concern as the other review... the little sticky ball that keeps the info sheet attached to the product left a raised bubble on the actual product when I removed it. I'm not too happy about that. I wish companies would stop using it (and also stop putting stickers on box art... I'm looking at you FUNimation).
Great for collectors

This is an incredible set. The storyboard book and the outer box are very sturdy and they arrived incredibly well packages with no dings or dents or bent corners. I just wish the companion book of illustrations wasnt a thin paperback.
As for the description sheet on the back of the set- i read the other reviews here before i purchased it and saw the issue people had with the little sticky tack that was used to attach the sheet. All you have to do it pull it off VERY gently and VERY slowly from one corner at a time. If there is any sticky residue left over just rub at it with your thumb until it comes off. I didnt have any problem with it causing bubbling or what not, so i hope this helps others thinking about buying this set!
