Strangely lower quality than usual.

As far as the series itself, the story arcs here are pretty darn good. A bit of a far cry from the rest of the series, in that it deals with more of a regular mystery, without apparitions. Still, very entertaining.

Visuals, as always, are top-notch. Very nice looking.

The only problem is in the subtitles. Unfortunately the Aniplex QC managed to fall asleep at the wheel and let 3 or 4 errors slip through the cracks. One completely missing word, and 3 random typos. I won't point them out here, so hopefully it will be easier to not notice them yourselves.

The next installment

by -

The monogatari series is one of my favorite franchises of the past decade, and Owarimonogatari continues the greatness following the last installments. The visuals are top notch, the mysteries are intriguing and entertaining, and the music is great.

However, it feels like Aniplex changed their standards with this release. The slipcase itself feels more durable than their Second Season releases, but the subtitles have a small handful of errors in them.

If you can get over the few errors in the subtitles, would still definitely recommend picking this up.

Great product

Another installment of my favorite series with Owarimonogatari being my favorite of the entire series. The slip case is great and the extras that came with were in my opinion well worth the price but as mentioned before there are some slight subtitle errors that appear now and again.
