Subtle Romance is a winner

by -

This is a great story. The characters grow and expand as you read the chapters. I like how there was a depth to the relationship development between all the characters. Using food as a way to bring people together was a nice common theme. It is a lighter BL without the typical romance scenes, so it felt almost more realistic in how a relationship could form. This is one of my favorites.

10/10 manga

I love this story line and I think some of you may too. I also love the art style they did with them. I really hope some of you can give this story some love <3

gentle and sweet

by -

Gentle story from the perspective of a loner slowly joining a family. through the brightness and outreach of a young child, this lonely guy learns to overcome some of his childhood issues! Very sweet and cute with subtle romance. Not strong Yaoi but definitely has some nice romantic vibes but mainly about people learning to become friends with each other after a life of mistrust

Absolutely Wonderful!

Absolutely wonderful. The character development is on-point, just awesome. The pacing, characters, plot (actual story; and even the lessons to take), art - all just wonderful. It's not a slow burn, it's well-paced and well-developed, and the payoff is so nice. I honestly want a series of this family, now, because the growth of the characters and their personalities, I love them all. I'm invested now, heh, and I wish there was more.

Great solo volume story

by -

This is a sweet story where you see two people find happiness and learn about the meaning of family. You see Yutaka grow to overcome his own challenges and insecurity by coming over to cook with Minoru and his little brother Tane who don't cook well. The story is on the lighter side without much emphasis on romance scenes but rather a more realistic approach to how people can fall in grow in love with another.

I would definitely recommend the story as it is heartwarming. There is even a brief jump to the future at the end which makes the story end in a satisfying way.

A heartwarming story

by -

Mita Ori does a phenomenal job at portraying the idea that family isn’t limited to the people we have in our lives, but who we choose to have in our lives. And the idea that love can grow from the simplest gestures. The elements of loneliness and grief being healed through sharing meals is what makes this story so beautiful.

Cannot Hype This Enough

This is the cutest and most wholesome content I've ever consumed.
The characters are lovable and relatable. The romance isn't the main focus and moves nice and slow. It's the best for a comfort read. You will get that warm and fuzzy feeling even if your heart is cold and dead like mine XD

I have read this manga multiple times and it gets better every read. It’s a really good story of casual romance growing through friendship.

The Story I Can't Stop Reading

When two people meet its not always with fireworks and rose petals, but a nice walk to a dining table filled with family and love.

I happened to pick this up because I thought the story idea was cute, but I did not have any remarkable expectations other than a cute story. I was right about it being a great story, but it blew my expectations by being very comforting to read. Whenever I either don't want to read something new or I just want something to comfort read this is the book I go back to. The story is simple and easy to engage with. The characters and their personalities are adorable and fit well into the setting and narrative that the author created. The art is a perfect match with the story and is easy on the eyes. Overall its a very cute love story that you just fall into.

I would definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a cute love story!
