Talk about a sleeper of a story
A fantastic look into the food and prep methods for a multitude of dishes that one only knew by name. Although having German ancestry I was not familiar with any of the German words, than again I am not Japanese either, the index in the back of the volume cures that lack of understanding.
The actual story, describes the preparation method of several of the meals in such a round about way that one can figure out how to make it on your own.
And there was an enjoyable background story that tied all of it together, truly an enjoyable, sleeper of a series. I look forward to an anime being released.
