One-Punch Man Season 1 Blu-ray
About One-Punch Man Season 1 Blu-ray
One-Punch Man Season 1 contains episodes 1-12 of the anime directed by Shingo Natsume, plus 6 OVAs.
Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of “special” training, though, he’s become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong—even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch, and it turns out that being devastatingly powerful is actually kind of a bore. With his passion for being a hero lost along with his hair, yet still faced with new enemies every day, how much longer can he keep it going?

An anime that will have you hooked from the first punch, One Punch Man!

One punch man is hands-down the best anime I've seen in the last few years! And definitely deserves 5 stars!
Feels like a limited edition
by Jumpkee -
The show itself is brilliant and a breath of fresh air in a genre that's been recycling tropes since the Dragon all era, it actually got a friend who's rarely interested in newer shows of the past decade to sit down and enjoy 'the guy with the stupid face' one punch villains in hilarious and exaggerated ways. For the box set, I didn't expect a difference in $10 from the standard set to have a classy plastic sleeve with a fold out disc holder with eye popping art. The post cards are a treasure to behold and frame. As a movie bluff who enjoys collecting different editions for their asthetics alone because I find collector editions to be better designed than standard, in most cases. So if this item is still stock buy this edition and enjoy the nice art and difference package feel
Fun Comedy You Can Finish In One Day
by Junebug -
One Punch Man is literally its name: a Japanese man who can kill anything with one punch. It's a comedy that makes satirical references toward known anime genres and tropes. I'm anticipating the second season of this hilarious and short anime. The images don't do the packaging justice; it comes in a silver paper slipcase and thin plastic case that holds the discs well in place. Definitely worth the purchase!

ERROR IN EPISODE 11
by SEAN -
Wish there was better quality control at Viz, all their releases seem to have varying degrees of quality.
Episode 11 has a dubbed line spoken from episode 12 at around the 1:49:05 mark. Obviously in error. I wonder how widespread this is without people even noticing or if Viz will even do anything about this.
One Punch Man is incredible though. This is more an informative review of Viz Media and their releases. Be wary of Viz.
You won't regret watching this.

If you're a fan of overpowered characters, This anime certainly delivers on that.
This has good comedy, amazingly well done fight scenes and a roster of great and interesting characters. And despite Saitama wining fights with one punch, it doesn't ever get boring. As it shows many fights with other characters, the story is quite interesting and makes want to find out the other characters backstories and where everything will go from the end of the anime.
I keep going back to watch this show again and again. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
Over-Powered Characters Rule!
by Ernie Carter
As a major fan of overpowered characters like Silver Age Superman this one fits the bill in its beautiful parody. I enjoyed every bit of this series. Can't wait to see Blast in action. A real must have!
Unique and hilarious take on shonen/superhero tropes, and a great release for it
by Eric -
My order arrived in perfect condition. The show is a hilarious and interesting take on shonen and superhero tropes. Don't count this show out though, as it does have also some interesting social commentary on Japanese society. This release is actually really cool, has a cool slip case and also comes with a bunch of the OVAs. According to someone else's review, theirs came out some post cards? Mine didn't. Oh well.
Highly recommend.
ker splat and there goes the mosquito
by JAMES
An anime hero that kill dat mosquito with one punch. Who could imagine who much fun this anime is. The anime hero is unbelievable entertaining. The tv series is well worth the money. This is when people put in the time and money to become creative with their anime.
One of the best shows period
by Gage -
This is one of the funniest shows I've seen, anime or otherwise. It's a satirical take on shonen anime, and the overpowered protagonists in them. The world is full of interesting characters, made even more interesting by the main character who is able to win every fight in one punch. This brings a lot of comedy, as he is often disappointed that being a hero doesn't involve any level of fun when you can beat everyone in a single punch. I'd recommend this even to people who don't watch anime, as most people in the western world are familiar enough with superheroes that the jokes will still be hilarious.
