Great beginning for the huge manga 'One Piece'!

I finally decided to get into One Piece the graphic novel, and I just got done with volume 1. Overall it's great for a first volume of the greatest pirate graphic novel ever! If you haven't been reading One Piece, you must give this series a try. The pacing is a bit slow, but as the story continues, the pacing increases and the action gets more and more intense! If you do not find the art very appealing, you shouldn't judge it on that, because underneath that art is a story that will leave you begging for more! You'll quickly become fond of all the characters in One Piece, and enjoy the commentary from Oda himself. Get ready to set sail and hop a board the greatest adventure you'll ever witness!! ONE PIECE
Best Manga/Anime of All TIme

Idk how this dude gave a good sold review with only 2 stars... A few years back I saw an EP of One Piece and hated it. I though the show looked like Pokemon on crack. Then I started seeing posts on FB saying stuff like "If you don't like One Piece, it's because you haven't given it a chance" or something like that. So I did and started from EP 1 - 40 in the first stilling. Amazing... Then I quickly caught up to the current episodes and It's now my favorite anime of all time.
This issue came out July 1997... 1997! It's still airing on TV and they are still making more. They just wont the guinness book of world records for "Most copies published for the same manga series" I mean like just watch it and if you truly don't like it you need to re evaluate your life.

Don't listen to any bad reviews. This is the best manga of all time. The world buildilng is just so insane and there's so much content. You can talk about one piece for hours and hours with your friends and I'm super hyped to read each next chapter when it comes out.

This is probably the greatest manga I've ever read, and I don't say that often. I have read every single chapter of One Piece and all I can say about this, manga is that it's a masterpiece. It's starts of great, I didn't really like Luffy at first because he was a bit annoying in my opinion but as I read more and more I started to like him. The art style from volume 1 was amazing, I see a lot of people complaining about the art style but I think the art style is just fine. Of course, one piece has a lot of flaws like any other anime but I really do think this manga deserves its popularity. That's all I had to say, Oda really knew what he was doing while making One Piece.
