It's a recap special but I enjoyed it (spoilers ahead)

by -

Episode of Sabo is pretty much a recap special with a few new scenes. Being a recap, a lot is gonna be left out or it’s gonna feel a bit rushed. It does have both of these and obviously not for newcomers, but it’s not as bad as some other recap specials are. It’s main focus is the coliseum in Dressrosa, but it also cuts back to the end of Marineford and a bit of the three brother’s past. It ends with Sabo getting the Flame Flame fruit, with the credits pretty much playing out the rest of the arc, which is a shame, but understandable since this specials main focus is Sabo. With the new footage, I was hoping for more. The scenes consist of a small scene with him and Koala, him looking around Dressrosa, or it’s just Sabo watching the action. The dub is good and it is nice to hear new dubbed One Piece again. And you get to hear what a lot of the Dressrosa characters will sound like. In all, it’s a recap special surrounding one character. I enjoyed it but pick it up and see for yourself.
