About Omamori Himari DVD

Omamori Himari features episodes 1-12

Yuuto Amakawa's life goes from ordinary to pawsitively arousing when beautiful demons start showing up! So what's the problem with cat demon Himari Noihara hanging around and on him all the while calling him master? Just the small fact that Yuuto is completely allergic to her!

Unfortunately, he'll have to suffer in silence, as Himari is dead set on sticking by his side in order to protect him from the Ayakashi demons hell-bent on seeking revenge against demon slayers. And it's just Yuuto's luck that he is the only remaining descendant of the Amakawa family, one of twelve demon slayer families who fought and killed Ayakashi for hundreds of years. Yuuto would prefer to keep the peace, but he may not have a choice to stay out of this long-running war.

Between the cat girl, sensual water deities, and boisterous demons galore, Yuuto will have to do all he can to stay abreast of everything happening around him. More importantly, he'll have to find the power that dwells deep inside him. That is, if he can survive the jealous beauties that are vying for his attention!

Excellent, well done harem! ! !

I really enjoyed this anime! It is a harem... sort of. He is 'weak' willed and he has a childhood friend, who is strong willed. Then the new girl shows up to protect him, and he adds a few ayakashi. The comedy is good. The video is well done. But... it is a harem and if you don't like them...

Good way to pass some time... check out the manga

I watched this series back in 2009-2010 when it aired on TV.. primarily because I was a fan of the Source Manga it was based off of.

This is your typical Harem style show.. it does have a pretty high dose of fanservice.. so you get your T&A pretty regularly. It also does have a plot, though the story gets strained in the anime to fit time constraints so you get the typical rushed ending.

I'd recommend it if you like 1.) Harem Comedies, 2.) Cat girls (who doesn't?) 3.) Boobs... yep its just that simple.

The manga IMO was much better.. but this is watchable... just no masterpiece.

Any why does this feel like a Sentai Title?

Definitely recommend

Very good ecchi show.

Overall, I enjoyed it!

My main problem with the first few episodes, is that at first I didn't think the voice for the main character suited him, but after the first few episodes I got used to it and then was able to enjoy the series.

O. H. is potentially only the beginning.

.....Agreed that the Anime isn't exactly true to the Manga, it's still a good second look. READ THE MANGA first. I am also a writer, so I automatically "see" the back stories of the characters. Wanna read a tragic back story that will wring your heart? Get Matra Sensi to tell the full story of Sizuku, and what must have happened between that part of her life he covers, up to the point where she joins the family and begins to LIVE again. She's stuck in her current young manifestation for a reason. Go for it! Its good!
