Escape from hell

by -

Volume 9 of Noragami contains chapters 32 through 35, continuing Ebisu's arc.

This volume has quite a bit of action and the fights are intense. I'm really starting to like Ebisu's character the more that's revealed about him. I also felt like the translator's notes in this volume were particularly fascinating (and funny at times), as they explained quite a bit of Shintoism and the family trees regarding how some of the various gods are related.
