Salvation through sacrifice
by Arina -
Volume 6 of Noragami contains chapters 20 through 23, wrapping up the Bishamon arc.
Following up the previous intense volume is yet another dramatic one. I thought things couldn't get more exciting, but I was wrong. Part of this volume also focuses on a certain character's past and the memories that have haunted them for centuries, which have led up to the events of the current battle. It really shows you just how strong the bond between characters can be, and how deep of an emotional connection they share. I really enjoyed the emotional ties between characters that were explained through their backstories. It definitely makes you sympathize with them a lot more.
