A somewhat cute side story for fans ^.^

by -

Disclaimer: I am a huge fan of No Game No Life; for me, it's my top anime story of all time.

Despite being a NGNL fan and knowing this was a side story, I thought this manga was not that great. For starters, the dialogue at times seemed forced and therefore the jokes weren't that funny. The panels were a little jarring a few times as well which messed with my reading enjoyment. Some pages felt like too much dialogue bubbles crammed in the same spot. The art was also a little off, and I know that it is a different artist, but it still didn't feel sometimes like Sora was Sora or Shiro was Shiro, etc. However, there were some funny interactions and the art was spot on for a few of these scenes.

Overall, I would give it a 6/10 or 3/5: to me, it feels like only if you are a major fan of Izuna or really dig NGNL than you will like this manga otherwise I wouldn't recommend you buy it.

P.S: I won't be buying anymore volumes from this specific series, one and done for me lol.
