Jibril #BestGirl
by Stacey -
If you haven't still guessed from the art cover -- aside from the conclusion of the arc from Vol. 4, yep, this is a 'Jibril/Flugel volume'. And it's glorious. I really wish they would make another season or three for NGNL just so I can watch the animation for these scenes.
My already generous respect for Jibril skyrocketed with this volume. As is her bad-assery. Seriously. I still want to bonk her on the head for the trouble she caused in NGNL: Zero but it's pure genius how flawlessly everything is interconnected. You can tell that the author really put a lot of thought and planned the plot for this series however I still think Steph needs more love.
Flugel as a race is expounded deeply here as well as their home Avant Heim. We also discover Sora's secret, something reaaaally juicy, which he doesn't even realize (Shiro now has confirmation though ;)
