About The Husky and His White Cat Shizun Novel Volume 1

The Husky and His White Cat Shizun: Erha He Ta De Bai Mao Shizun Novel Volume 1 was written by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou ( Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat ) with illustrations and cover art by St.

The wildly popular danmei/Boys’ Love novel series from China! Also known as 2ha (“Erha”), this highly requested historical fantasy epic about a tyrant’s second chance at life and the teacher he can’t get out of his mind will be released in English for the first time!

Cruel tyrant Taxian-jun killed his way to the throne and now reigns as the first ever emperor of the mortal realm. Yet somehow, he is unsatisfied. Left cold and bereft, abandoned by all he held dear, he takes his own life…only to be reborn anew.

Awakening in the body of his younger self—Mo Ran, a disciple of the cultivation sect Sisheng Peak—he discovers the chance to relive his life. This time, he vows to attain the gratification that once eluded him: all who defied him will fall, and never again will they treat him like a dog. His greatest fury is reserved for Chu Wanning, the coldly beautiful and aloofly catlike cultivation teacher who betrayed and thwarted Mo Ran time and again in their last life.

Yet as Mo Ran shamelessly pursues his own goals in this life he thought lost, he begins to wonder if there might be more to his teacher—and his own feelings—than he ever realized.

This Chinese fantasy (xianxia) epic built around the desire between two men (danmei) has been translated into multiple languages and inspired a multimedia franchise in China. The Seven Seas English-language edition will include exclusive, all-new covers and interior illustrations from artist St with a translation by Rynn & Jun.

Do some research before going into this series blindly

I have never read this series before and I am enjoying it so far! I find it very easy to read. BUT

I do want to note that there are some dark/triggering topics in this book from what I've heard (I haven't encountered them yet, I am only on chapter 3 or 4 as of writing this).

I was a little surprised that the book comes unwrapped and there are no warnings to be found in the book, so please do some research or googling before reading this book!

I think that this book was really fun to read! It's a bit dark/triggering at times so be aware of that. Art was sooooo pretty too and I've already preordered the next volume.

Miss Meatbun

I don’t know how she does it but I adore Meatbun Doesn’t Eat Meat (read: she’s made me cry too many times for me to ever move on) and her way of writing. I wish the physical copies had left her mini theaters in but I adore the art on the cover and inside! I’m so happy I own this book!
