One of the best values for manga you will find. A universally loved manga, in the biggest, hardcover omnibus there is on the market (the same size as the attack on Titan Collossal ones) The color pages are done well, and the poster is beautiful, this is the Nausicaa release you want. However, Both the books and the cardboard box they come in are prone to inexplicable tears at some of their corners.

Best Release of a Timeless Classic

I've been seeing Nausicaa for the longest time and never got into it.
But recently I discovered manga collecting I saw this version in a bookstore.

After doing some research and looking at reviews, I finally bit.
Suffice to say, this is one great purchase. The beautiful hardcover, great paper quality and superb story all in one package at a very good price.

Paper this was printed on is high quality and feels really good. Same can be said for the hardcovers. The image quality of the panels are pristine. Would recommend this every time.

Mammoth like an Ohmu

As of this review, I have yet to finish reading the Nausicaa manga in its entirety, but there is a good reason why. The boxset itself is big, heavy, and loaded to the teeth with manga that those who are able to binge-read might be more suited to get through it without much trouble. Otherwise, the original Nausicaa manga is still a fascinating look-through. The illustrations themselves truly have that Hayao Miyazaki look even if they’re not moving and it can be easy for any Ghibli fan to spot differences in the storytelling between the artist’s comics and his own movie adaptation, ranging from plot and character developments to additional characters and settings that are exclusive to the manga. If you have the dough and the managed expectations, this manga boxset is one worth tackling at your own pace.

Gorgeous: A must-have for Studio Ghibli fans

I decided to buy this because I was a fan of the movie but never got around to reading the manga. I love this edition because it has beautiful color pages/design and it's easier to read the text because it's a bigger edition.

Wonderful box set...

What can I say about this series that has not already been said? This manga comes from none other than Hayao Miyazaki, best known for his Studio Ghibli films. Out of the handful of manga he has produced, to my knowledge this is probably the most well known, and the longest. If you enjoyed the movie this is based on, then pick this up! The artwork is beautiful, and this gives you a more in depth look at that world. The quality of the box set itself is also wonderful. Worth every penny, even more so if you get it on sale.

A must own for manga fans!

by -

A truly epic tale, and one of Hayao Miyazaki's very best, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind has truly been given the love it deserves in this massive two-book omnibus of the entire manga series. The hardcover binding of these books are beautiful, and the manga itself is printed on a very high-quality paper, which makes this box set feel as special as the manga is! 10/10

A classic masterpiece everyone can appreciate

by -

The movie only adapted the first 200 pages or so (roughly 20% of the story) so there's a lot of new content if you've only seen the movie. The large hardcover edition is especially nice because the pages are really packed with detail and small text. I doubt I could even read this in a smaller format. It's quite dense and took me most of a Sunday to read but it was amazing and enjoyed every minute of it.
