Great start for your Naruto collection
by Rebecca
Great set for the price, a lot better than the 3 disc uncut sets. Definitely recommend this one for any Naruto fan. Annoying that the beginning of most episodes recap, but other than that it is agreat set!
Really Good

Naruto What to expect (through ep 25)?
by ThatAnimeWatcher
A good action series with ninjas, ninja magic, child drama and comic moments. There is death. Poverty and despair are touched on but quickly moved past. Time period? Wireless headsets exist, but technology is not prominent. No modern weapons of war are seen. Puritans will cry foul at ep 1's flash of (censored, comic) nudity, everyone else will snicker and note a few such scenes are the extent of the "dirty" to be seen. (I can't speak for beyond ep 25.) If your kid is old enough to watch the news and hear bad words, they're old enough for this show. Middle-school and older is about right.
The show starts slow in ninja middle school, plodding as it introduces the characters. The main character starts weak (compared to what's expected for his age/village) but even middle school ninja athleticism is at/past Olympic levels. The series gets serious with ep 6. This package doesn't end on a cliff-hanger, but does stop mid-arc.
