Only Con is the Price
by Ahmer -
Awesome quality release! The whole box set is themed with a pastel color pallet and the book that comes with it has some incredible character art! As always Aniplex prices are...questionable, but if that doesn't concern you then the release itself is great, and so is this show!
Definitely recommend
A fan's dream come true
by Wilmer -
As a long time fan this box set is all i could have asked for. Owning the complete series checks off this long time wish of mine to own the anime and it helps that the presentation is well done. The small art pamphlet brings together various official visuals of the characters. The pastel theme really pops and gives the series a light-hearted look. While I had wished it came with art cards like the initial release, I am grateful that the unreleased ovas have found a home on my shelf. However, I would only really recommend this box set if you have finished the manga as the anime does not complete the story. Overall a nice and small package for a personal favorite of mine. I would love to see Saekano get the same treatment in the future.
The Best Way To Watch Nisekoi
by Edit_d2 -
Loved the series so much I bought the box set. Little did I know there were OVAs I haven't seen yet and the quality difference. Streaming anime may be easier for us anime fans but watching anime on a Blu-ray especially this box set is a different experience. It is something to see to believe. Definitely worth the price.
Censored
by Joseph
Frustrating that this edition costs so much, while censoring many scenes in the anime as compared with the tv release. Look it up if you don't believe me. They added light blotches, steam, etc. to certain scenes to make them less risqué, which seems like a lot of work for no particular reason.
better off getting the manga instead

while I love this anime you're better off putting the cost of this for the manga instead because at least there you'll get a finished product. 100% would watch just to have it come alive. wouldn't pay to not get the whole story here.
Funny, Colorful, and Entertaining Opposites Attract Romcom
by MKY -
Purchased this title when on sale and found "Nisekoi" a good entertaining watch. Especially, since this anime is produced by Studio Shaft with the harem theme, great background art, and a 'visual style' that made Shaft known for the "Monogatari" series, "Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei", and "March Comes in Like A Lion" anime shows.
This is now my tenth most favorite romcom, and that's high praise considering the large number of such shows produced every year. Loved the clever scenes of Chitoge's 'bouncing' red hair ribbon, and also 'Seishirou the Assassin' blue bow hair ribbon scenes as well. Obviously were borrowed in the "Quintuplets" anime with Yotsuba's green hair ribbon scenes.
The chipboard box is standard yet attractive, the art book features key art/illustrations from previously released CDs/DVDs/OVAs, and this complete set is the only means to watch the OVAs, as they were censored on streaming services because some episodes are extremely ecchi compared to the TV show.
Enjoy!
Did the price stop me from buying it? Nah.
by Brandon -
Yeah, it's pricey. You can get all 25 volumes of manga for about what this costs, but that didn’t stop me from filling my shelf.
Season 1 follows the manga almost panel-for-panel up through chapter 50. My only complaint is the extra fanservice slipped in which slows things down. You'll find 45 of the first 50 chapters animated. Yes, the onsen episode has slightly more "steam" added than the original release but it didn't bother me. Nisekoi is supposed to be a romcom, not ecchi after all. :)
Season 2's pacing is both noticeably and welcomely faster, but we get a lot less character and plot development. Instead of animating the story chapter-by-chapter like they did with season 1, they spent a lot of time animating filler chapters - only 31 of the next 56 got animated. Arguably one of the best arcs of the series, the amnesia arc, was completely omitted. If I had the choice (which of course I don't) I would have devoted 2-3 episodes to that instead of half a dozen of the fillers.
