About NE NE NE Manga

NE NE NE Manga features story by Shizuku Totono and art by Daisuke Hagiwara.

Married off to a man more than twenty years her senior, Koyuki has no idea what her new life has in store for her. She's so in the dark, in fact, that she hasn't even seen her husband's face! But Koyuki isn't alone in fumbling through the intricacies of wedded bliss. Mask-donning Shin might have many years on his young wife, but as it turns out, he's just as naïve as she is! Will this pair of innocents ever get past their awkwardness (and the age gap)?!

Sweet and Short Rom-Com

by -

This story is cute and short. I was disappointed that there wasn't a continuation of the story but the ending sufficed. It is a forced proximity romance between a 16 year old girl married by her family to an awkward 36 year old man who sees spirits. Both have never been in a relationship before and while Koyuki is trying to learn what it means to be a wife, due to her youth she is treated by others in the community as if she was a worker at the house. It's fun to watch Shin as he grapples with the fact that he has such a young wife and teaches her about seeing spirits.

The story is light-hearted and stays innocent throughout. You mostly follow the journey of them living together and learning to open up to each other.

Adorable

This is a one volume story about this young girl and an older man who are forced into getting married because of family circumstances. It’s a very innocent story so the age gap doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable. It’s really cute to see how they both interact with each other and how they deal with being a married couple now especially since they both haven’t dated before. I’m just disappointed that it wasn’t longer. I believe this could have been a cute and interesting series but oh well if you don’t mind the age gap I think you’ll really enjoy this story so check it out ! Have a nice day <3

Cute, but Short; Also with CWs for those interested

by

I really liked the story. It was super cute and wholesome. My only critique is its size. It's on the smaller side, even for oneshots, at around 150 pages, so you most likely will be left wanting more and I wish there was more. Overall, it is a quick and cute read that I am happy I picked up

Content Warnings for Future Readers:
Some problems you have have with the story is the relationship itself. It is an arranged marriage and an age gap story (FL is 16 and the ML is 20 years her senior, nothing happens in the bedroom, but this theme is talked about), so if you are uncomfortable with either of those themes, I would recommend something else.
