A little different take on 'Magic High School' animes

by -

I enjoyed this show though it's mostly an episodic series that keeps things pretty light and cute for most of its run with a little darker plot-line coming in the last 2 episodes. The show has a wonderful look with very good animation. It's not too heavy on the fan service aspect (more in the OVA, but even then its just based on optical illusions) and despite the number of girls around the MC, it's really more harem-esque as only one of them shows any romantic interest in him.

I went for the limited edition because of the lenticular art cards included but those are the only real extras beyond the artbox.

This is one of Kyoto Animations work so I knew I had to have as I always enjoyed there work like Air Tv and Free! to name a few.

this story is well, not a lot and it kept it ok but I still enjoyed it for what it was.

love the set and happy I got a good deal for it on the 32-bit sale
