Love is what you do, not what you say

The second volume of "My Wife Has No Emotion" only builds upon the strengths of the first. It often puts you in the same boat as the human protagonist (Takuma) by encouraging you pay close attention to the "emotionless" Mina -- she often says volumes with a tilt of the head or a thoughtful gesture. I also enjoyed this volume's focus on how robots process the world, view their place in it, and view other robots. And as before, the romance between Takuma and Mina is make-your-heart-hurt cute. (There's also an allegory going on here about loving someone with disability for those who can read between the lines.) All told, it's super-refreshing to read a cyberpunk-lite story about humans and robots that is this profoundly hopeful while also being thoughtful and realistic. Great, great manga that just keeps getting better!
