Must Have Slice of Life Title

by -

Possibly one of the more interesting, down to earth, slice-of-life shows released in a while. Though the description of the show seemed awkward to pick up the series at first, the show really does deliver as it has everything from an interesting story, characters that are memorable, and even enjoyable light humor. English dub is also superb. This show reminds me of the series 'Barakamon', which shares a lot of similar elements and great production quality.

Standard Essential disc from Funimation with Two Blu-Ray Disc and digital code.

Definitely a must have in any collection.

A Calming & Heartwarming Slice Of Life

by -

With a title like "My Roommate Is A Cat" and plot centered around an introverted author taking in a stray cat, one may expect: talking cat, magic, or some extensive comedy. But this show has none of this. Instead its about normal things a cat owner deals with & daily mundane things like feeding them, naming them and interactions. The episodes are split into 2 parts, one told though the author & the other through the cat. Giving a cool dynamic for a Calming show.

Contains all 12 episodes, clean op & Ed, episode 12 English dub commentary and funimation digital copy. This is a super Calming and tear jerking show with subtext on healing from loss of loved ones [in both species]. A must for cat owners, introverts, and anyone who wants a break from the typically crazy anime genres.

Day in the life of a pet owner

by -

This series truly captures what being a first time pet owner truly is. The way each episode is told from both perspectives is great. Great slice of life very good character growth.

Warm and Fuzzy, like a kitten

This is.... adorable. And healing. It's cleansing to watch.
The main character is too young to die, too undiagnosed to live. He's insular and riddled with anxiety and has just suffered a sudden loss. He stumbles into taking in a stray kitten he finds while visiting a grave. The rest is an accurate depiction of living with a cat, and in general sharing your life with another living being.
The episodes flip halfway thru each to show the ep from the cat's pov. The cat is a total tsundere, also an accurate depiction of living with a cat.
