An excellent second volume that manages to outshine the first!
by Noah -
After reading and loving the first volume, I was surprised to find myself loving the second even more than the first. It succeeds in excellent character development (particularly Takeo and Suna) and somehow crafts a realistic story with fantastical elements.
In terms of the Art, I personally found Aruko's art to have greatly improved since the first volume. The lines are cleaner, rounder, and better detailed. 5/5.
As expected, Kazune Kawahara has crafted another funny yet heartfelt story. This volume in particular features a mature look at real life personal and societal problems. It was quite fresh to see this in a Shojo manga. Also, the introduction of more friends and parents really enhanced the storytelling. 5/5.
My recommendation is to buy this volume along with the first, as one (like me) might have the intense desire to read more after that. It's as delicious as chocolate cake!
