About My Hero Academia Vigilantes Manga Volume 1

My Hero Academia Vigilantes Manga Volume 1 features story by Hideyuki Furuhashi and art by Court Betten.

In a superpowered society, there is nothing ordinary about evil anymore. Heroes, trained and licensed to protect and defend the public against supervillains, stand above all the rest. However, not everyone can be an official hero, and there are those who would use their powers to serve the people without legal sanction. But do they fight for justice in the shadows or for reasons known only to themselves? Whatever they fight for, they are called…vigilantes.

Koichi Haimawari couldn’t make the cut to become an official hero, so he uses his modest Quirk to do good deeds in his spare time. Then one day, a fateful encounter with some local thugs leads him to team up with two other unlikely heroes. None of them really know what they’re doing, but they’ve got the courage—or foolishness—to try. But they soon discover fighting evil takes more than just being brave…

Find your own way to be a HERO!

by -

Do you wan't be a hero? Are you looking for fame and glory? Wait - No????
Koichi Haimawari is the companion series titular nice guy / underdog. In secret he prowls the streets as "The Crawler" picking up the cities trash (literally) saving beautiful damsels and dorky nerds from gangs, robbers and the occasional C list villain. Basically the small stuff the big heroes ignore. But for Koichi this is what it truly means to be a hero - but he isn't one.... he's a VIGILANTE!

Better than I expected!

by

I went in not expecting much since this is a side series but was completely amazed by how much fun of a read it was. The characters are funny and believable, Knuckle Duster is a total bad ass btw ( Love my big punchy boi) I can' wait for the next books to come out in english!

Give it a read!

the Cruller Man! hopefully I spelled that right?! great read, shows a different sides of people trying to be heroes in their own way! I am ready for my 12th ? bulk buy.....

Worth your time if you're a MHA fan

by -

Vigilantes has the right balance of different and familiar from the series it spun off from. The main character Koichi has shades of Deku but his life took a totally different path. The supporting cast is considerably smaller but they're nothing like the students of class B. It's not all unfamiliar though - you'll see some favorite characters. The art is a little different from MHA but it's still good and fits right in with the world Horikoshi created.

This Is Amazing Beginning Of A Series

by

My Hero Vigilantes was my very first manga I've ever had and didn't know what to expect when I got it I never seen the manga art style and storytelling that I haven't seen in western books.

Pleasant Surprise!

by

I haven't watch the anime for MHA but I decided to pick this up as a test run is the MHA universe and I wasn't hoping for much but i was surprised it is such a joy to read and the original charters are really unique and funny, And the villains are really interesting especially Hachisuka . But my favorite character has to be pop step especially in the later volumes. its great fun and its definitely worth checking out at the price.
