Nice story

It’s has an interesting plot that is sort of based on Cinderella. Reading this has me excited to get the manga for this series.
Poor girl lives with a Rich man

A story about a girl abused by stepmother and stepsister. She gets engaged to a beautiful, rich, powerful man for his status, set up by her neglectful father. The rich man assume she's another rich girl after his status. The rich man begins to care for her as he learns more about her each day from living with her before their official marriage. The genre is very much poor girl meet rich man, and they live together.
The girl is kind-hearted and thoughtful, but weak, fearful, insecure, and quick to apologize to literally everything - traits from being mistreated for so long. It wasn't fun and gets tiring reading how pitiful she is for the entire book, but felt realistic. Character development takes time, and geez it took the entire book to barely have any.
The villains were simple bad guys. one-dimensional and flat.
They're coming out with a Japanese live drama and an anime in the future. Read this if it's your genre; don't if you dislike weak female leads.
Weak Female Lead

It was sometimes beautifully written, and other times forced. Prose was really inconsistent.
I pulled my hair out several times because of how one dimensional Miyo's character was. Up until the end of the book she was still the weak damsel in distress.
I am sorely disappointed in the first volume. If you like feeling sorry for the female lead, buy this book.
