I’m back! I’ve been following and reading the Japanese release but buying the English volumes once they release. It’s the first cosplay photo shoot! They won’t be using a cellphone to take photos. They also get a surprise cosplay! I love these! This is totally relatable. Cosplaying secretly and meeting up with your friends and they all start screaming haha. This was a really fun volume.
I wanted to warn people tho this volume at the end, Marin is going to cosplay a tan character and use makeup. Some Japanese cosplayers will use makeup to darken themselves. These foundations are found in the cosplay shops too. I definitely don’t recommend doing this, but I wanted to point out reactions are different compared to people in the states vs overseas. I don’t think they do it to be mean it’s more so trying to look like the character they love.
