Great if you have reasonable expectations.

Does Monster Musume have a deep, intricate story? No. Does it have thought provoking dialogue? No. Is it high concept? Definitely not. It sticks to what it does best, being funny. Most of the plot points act as set ups for jokes or bizarre chains of events that just get goofier as they go. The characters are pretty solid throughout. All the girls have distinct personalities rather than being interchangeable. The artwork has been consistently good through all the volumes I've read. Basically if you want lots of comedy and fan service then this is definitely worth a try. If you want an intricate plot or girls who keep most of their clothes on then.......yeah.....this probably won't work for you.
A harem that is what I would call new
by Connor
I personally like this series because its a new type of harem but its still the naturally erotic harem but a bit more funny.
ThatGuy Rates Monster Musume

Do you like monsters? Yes? I know I do! Do you like Girls? YES! I know I DO!! Do you like monster girls? You mean you can have BOTH? ...yes? Nothing beats a romance harem comedy and this takes it to a "monstrous" level. Erotic and kinky and plenty of hilarious mishaps and misunderstandings! Do we like monster girls? NO! We LOVE Monster Girls in "Monster Musume"!
Now THIS is a "First Contact"!
by Ansel
This is one harem comedy that truly defines "Monster" comedy! Try reading this manga while listening to the soundtrack "Star Trek: First Contact".
A GREAT SERIES!
by AUSTIN
Honestly, there's not much I can say about Monster Musume that people haven't already said. It's not the first of the Monster Girl genre, but it was this series that made the genre popular. it's definitely a great addition. That's unique about this ecchi, harem comedy is that the main guy is not weak, oblivious, or perverted. He's a caring, responsible, honorable guy who treats the girls with respect. Unfortunately, he ends up in a lot of situations that "crosses the line," so to speak.
If you like harem comedies, mythological monsters or fan service in general, this series is a modern, essential collection. 5 stars!
Great Series, Great Manga
by Justin -
Really I have nothing bad to say about this series at all. Reading them now and staying up to date with the new volumes coming out.
The series is funny, little pervy, great animation, and provides so much more detail than just the show. (Which is great also BTW). It really surprised me how close this first manga and the show are. Almost the same exact sentences. First time I have ever seen them do that in any show so far.
If you are into funny anime, with a small side of haram perv then check this out. You won't be disappointed.
Really hot harem
by Swiggs -
This story is about a guy who has to take in a bunch of monster girls as part of a government cultural exchange program. He's not allowed to sleep with them which is a great setup for erotic tension in this manga. The girls are all hot, especially Miia the lamia. Need her to wrap me up. Excited to see what other girls will be introduced in future volumes
