Monster Musume I Heart Monster Girls Manga Volume 1
About Monster Musume I Heart Monster Girls Manga Volume 1
Monster Musume: I ♥ Monster Girls tells all new, all original stories in four-panel comic strip anthology format, including a short Monster Musume story from Shake-O, creator of Nurse Hitomi’s Monster Infirmary. Spun off from events and characters as seen in the original manga and anime series, this new manga expands upon the Monster Musume universe.
What do world governments do when they learn that fantastical beings are not merely fiction, but flesh and blood-not to mention feather, hoof, and fang? Why, they create new regulations, of course, like the Interspecies Cultural Exchange Accord!
When twenty-something Kurusu Kimihito becomes an involuntary "volunteer" in the government homestay program for monster girls, his world is turned upside down. A lamia named Miia is sent to live with him, and it's Kimihito's job to make sure the sexy snake girl integrates into everyday life. While cold-blooded Miia is hot for Kimihito, the penalties for interspecies breeding are dire. Even worse, when a buxom centaur girl, and a scantily-clad harpy move into Kimihito's house, what's a full-blooded young man with raging hormones to do? Find out in Monster Musume: I Heart Monster Girls Manga Volume 1!

14 stories by different people, done 4 panel comic style. First off though any one could read this you really do need to be familiar with Monster Musume manga to get the most out of it. Overall the stories are more 'toned down' than the original manga and I felt mostly average. The book is readable but I think more for fans of the original manga. I will say though, I did sort of enjoy it and do have the second volume preordered but then again I sort of like the original manga.
A Great Companion

This manga is a spinoff of sorts from the original Monster Musume series. It contains 14 short stories told in 4-panel format. The stories are all written by different authors and are of varying lengths.
Overall, I thought that the stories were funny even if not to the same degree of craziness as in the original. I would agree that a reader would need to be somewhat familiar with the main monster girls in order to fully understand their quirks and the jokes in the different stories.
As such, I would say that this makes a great companion series to the original Monster Musume series, and if you liked the original you will most likely enjoy this one.
Less of everything.

This was not quite what I expected. It had all the monster girls in it, and it was entertaining enough. Its basically a bunch of short stories, 4 or 5 pages long at most. In the end its far less of everything I enjoy from the main books.
Definitely worth reading for monster girl fans.

I really enjoyed this spin off series. It's not quite as good as the main Monster Musume series of course but it is definitely worth a read. Especially if your a fan of monster girls. A lot of shenanigan moments in it just like in the main series I have no complaints was worth it.
